A few helpful questions compiled from previous guests. 

  • How many does Stockholm Haüs sleep? 
    - 16 people max. (8 Bedrooms total) 
     

  • Can I rent just the Main Haüs? 
    - Yes, in the off-season (November - March) guests can rent just the Main Haüs for a reduced rate. 
    (This includes 5 King beds, sleeping 10 total). 
     

  • Is Stockholm Haüs open all year long? 
    -Yes! Stockholm Haüs is beautiful in every season! 
     

  • Is it better to book directly with Stockholm Haüs? 
    - Yes, absolutely. Saves guests hundreds to thousands on fees! Contact Stockholm Haüs directly via email: the.stockholm.haus@gmail.com. 
     

  • Does Stockholm Haüs host weddings? 
    Yes, micro-weddings are allowed on our property. 50 people max for weddings. 
    Contact Miranda and Aaron at the.stockholm.haus@gmail.com for a custom event contract. 
     

  • Special Event Insurance
    If you are planning a special event at Stockholm Haüs, you will need to provide event insurance. This covers the additional guests over the allowed 16 guests and can be easily sourced at EventHelper.com or similar. 
     

  • ​Additional guests allowed? 
    If you are planning an event at Stockholm Haüs, there is a special event fee and requires an event contract. 
    This includes Retreats, Grooms Dinners, Holiday Dinner Parties, Bridal Brunches, Welcome Receptions, Pool Parties, etc. 
     

  • Absolutely no dogs allowed, even super cute small ones. 
     

  • Minimum Stay? 
    May - October (3 night min)
    Nov - April (2 night min) 
     

  • Cancellation Policy? 
    All reservations booked directly through Stockholm Haüs require a 25% non-refundable downpayment. 
    - April - October requires a 90-day cancellation to receive remaining amount.
    - November - March requires a14-day cancellation to remaining amount.
     

  • What should I pack for my large group?
    - If you are hosting more than 16 people or hosting an event - you will need to provide extra supplies. This includes, paper towels, paper plates, toilet paper, garbage bags, cooking supplies, etc. The Stockholm Haüs is prepared for 16 guests only. 
    - Always pack frozen pizza, easy snacks, beverages, coffee, Nespresso pods and creamer.
    - Don't forget extra ICE and extra firewood! (You always need more with groups). 
     

  • Saltwater Pool (16 x 45) 
    - Can be heated up to 84 degrees for a minimal charge $75/day.
    - Pool is open late April - late Oct. 
    - Requires 24 hours notice. 
     

  • Wood-Fired Hot Tub is available seasonally only, September - April.
