Stockholm Haus has roots.
There is a real story to tell here. The sacred land we are on spans three generations and has countless stories.
This cherished place was where farming families, neighbors, and friends would gather after long days in the fields.

Scandinavian Design
What's with all the black? We went "all in" with Nordic design and aesthetics. The home's design is a nod to Napa's Howard Backen in Sweden's Stockholm archipelago setting. The beautiful mix of minimalism, use of nature, and creating space for entertaining in two separate but connected homes is simply brilliant.
The Main Haus (left) and Guest Haus (right) have been designed for large groups that want to be together but also have the opportunity to retreat to their own private space. The are fully-stocked homes with everything you could ever need. Together, but separate. It just works.
Linens, pillows, duvets - oh my!
Only award-winning will do. Our guests deserve the best, so we have curated the most ideal bed for you. To start, there are two of the "perfect" Casper pillows, along with two other custom-designed pillows perched on your bed. We selected the heavenly "Naked" line of linens, which feels like slipping right into paradise - fresh, crisp, almost buttery, and yet so breathable and cozy. These are atop a premium 15" Helix mattress and covered with a super cozy blanket and oversized, fluffy duvet. You will only have the perfect sleep here, no questions about it. The Atrium.
This beautiful gathering place is flooded with natural light and overlooks the deck and pool. It is part of the Main Haus and has a secret door that opens into the Guest Haus. If you have the entire place, you can leave the door open for easy flow between the two houses and the outside. It is perfect for a groom's dinner, bridal brunch, family-style dinners, or even better, hire one of our preferred chefs to cook for you!
The table comfortably seats 12 people.
Sunsets over Lake Pepin
The Stockholm Haus is perched on a hill, less than a mile from Lake Pepin and all of her majesty. This 22-mile stretch of beauty is what brings great joy and calmness to everyone who meets her. You'll want to stick around for the sunsets... and the sunrise if you can get up for it. Majestic.
Come for the Haus, Stay for the Eagles
Bald eagles can be found at Lake Pepin in Minnesota and Wisconsin year-round. The Chippewa River's flow into the Mississippi River keeps the water open in the winter, which is a natural draw for migrating eagles looking for fish. Eagles can be seen perching in nearby trees and fishing in the open water, as well as foraging for carrion in the surrounding uplands. Eagles can often be seen circling near Stockholm Haus.

Steve and Alan have created a beautiful gathering place for all who enter. Not just incredible pies, homemade sandwiches, soups, delicious farm-to-table food, but also has a fantastic market and espresso shop. I never leave without bags full of goodies, especially the local cheeses and wine. Stockholm Pie Company is the perfect place to stop anytime of the week during your stay at Stockholm Haus.
Perfect place for wedding parties to stay.
There are plenty of beautiful places to stay in the area, but none are quite like Stockholm Haus. It consists of two homes connected by a large atrium with a 45-foot pool and cabana. It is designed to host grooms' dinners before the big day or the bridal brunch when you want to chill out and hang in the pool. It just makes sense.
