A Space for Meaningful Connections

If there is anything we want the Stockholm Haus to be, it would be a place for meaningful connections. At bare minimum, we want our guests to feel loved and taken care of the minute they walk in the door. Every single square inch of the homes have been meticulously designed for our guests comfort. Stockholm Haus is not an ordinary vacation rental, there is so much more heart and intent that has been poured into the place, the good vibes and energy that surround the walls are enough to guarantee a memorable experience. Our hope is for our guests to truly disconnect from the outside world and just be with one another. I recently read Sherry Turkle's book "Alone Togeether" and was greatly impacted by the following below.  “Technology is seductive when what it offers meets our human vulnerabilities. And as it turns out, we are very vulnerable indeed. We are lonely but fearful of intimacy. Digital connections and the sociable robot may offer the illusion of companionship without the demands of friendship. Our networked life allows us to hide from each other, even as we are tethered to each other. We’d rather text than talk.”

We encourage our guests to dig a little deeper and strengthen the relationships they have, while they can. Why not in a beautiful space that has been designed just for that very thing?
